A Modern French Wedding on the Côte d’Azur

Melanies and Florian spectacular destination wedding took place in Villefranche-Sur-Mer, France, in August of 2023. Two days of celebration included a welcome night at the beach club Le Galet, in Nice, followed by a stunning wedding ceremony, reception and dinner at Chateau du Mont Leuze. The stage was set, and the theme was clear: “L’Amour Toujours.” This luxurious modern French wedding on the enchanting Côte d’Azur was a celebration of love that would resonate through every moment of this extraordinary weekend. It all began on the welcome night at the glamorous beach club, “Le Galet,” where guests were welcomed by the stunning table decoration. Guests waved their napkins in joy, and the evening sparkled with an intensity that mirrored the love shared by the bride and groom. Wedding Cake Party

It was time for a quintessential French wedding tradition: the cutting of the cake. The towering croquembouche, composed of delicate golden cream puffs and bound together with golden spun sugar, stood as a grand centerpiece. The bride and groom shared this sweet moment, cutting into the tower with laughter and affection. Guests watched in delight as they fed each other the first bites, symbolizing their shared future and happiness. Following this sweet interlude, the newlyweds took to the dance floor for their special moment. To the romantic strains of Christina Perri’s “A Thousand Years,” they danced with grace and love. Their movements were a testament to their deep connection and the promise of a lifelong journey together. As the bride and groom’s dance came to an end, the music transitioned seamlessly into an upbeat melody, signaling the start of a night filled with dancing and celebration. The DJ’s expertise ensured that the atmosphere remained electric, keeping guests on their feet and moving to the rhythm deep into the night. But the surprises didn’t stop there. As the evening progressed, the bride made a striking transformation. She changed out of her elegant wedding gown into a sultry, stylish glitter party dress. The shift in her attire signaled a change in the mood, and she was ready to let loose and celebrate in style. This bold choice only added to the night’s excitement, and the bride dazzled with her new look on the dance floor. The night was a crescendo of love, joy, and celebration, with the perfect blend of tradition and modernity. The wedding’s table setting was a study in modern elegance, radiating luxury with a touch of understated glamour. The tablescapes were designed with straight, clean lines, emphasizing a modern aesthetic. A color palette of white and gold dominated, creating a timeless and opulent atmosphere. Clusters of roses and chrysanthemums adorned each table, their soft and romantic hues providing a
delicate contrast to the white and gold. The flowers were meticulously arranged in minimalist yet lush
centerpieces, drawing attention without overwhelming the setting. The real showstoppers, however, were the numerous candles that graced each table. Glittering in
glas candle holders, these candles provided a warm and enchanting glow that enveloped the space,
casting an ethereal light over the guests. Each place setting was a work of art in itself, with white embossed menu cards meticulously placed
on every setting. The embossed menus were not only functional but also doubled as elegant table
decorations, providing guests with a glimpse of the exquisite meal to come. As a special touch, each guest received a gift that would delight the senses. A luxurious soap, fragrant with the delicate scent of Camelia, was placed at every setting. The fragrance of Camelia was famously adored by Coco Chanel, adding a hint of elegance and a nod to timeless fashion. This thoughtful guest present was a token of appreciation, meant to remind guests of the beautiful evening long after the celebration had come to an end. The modern, straight, and luxurious table setting, with its carefully chosen details and fragrant guest presents, was a visual and sensory masterpiece. It created an atmosphere of refined beauty and sophistication, a perfect reflection of the love and elegance that defined this spectacular modern wedding.
